(CA) December 2020 – Wagepoint

We released the following feature enhancements and bug fixes in Wagepoint on December 18, 2020.

Bug fixes

Removed the case sensitivity from client search results in the accountant dashboard so that partners can find their clients easily.
Added a validation message to notify accountant/bookkeepers if an email address already exists for an admin user.
Updated the Xero integration to create a CR entry for liability due to non-payable income (i.e. the non-payable income shows up as a negative amount) in the bill in Xero.
Updated the subsidy calculation in the finalization process to handle cases where a client has reached their maximum and undoing a payroll doesn’t trigger an available subsidy balance.

We released the following feature enhancements and bug fixes in Wagepoint on December 24, 2020.

New BPA formula for Federal Exemption, Nova Scotia and Yukon.
Updates to the micro-service to handle the taxability of car allowance code.
Updates to ensure that YTD amounts are included in payroll reports if cycle end of first payroll is before beginning of the new year.
