If employees need to submit a weekly timecard without the requirement of clocking in and out for each day or shift, this can be accomplished by configuring the Weekly Timesheet feature in the admin account settings.
1. Configure employee permissions to allow clock in / out from the web:
2. To configure in the admin account:
Navigate to settings > Time, shifts & schedules
Choose the method by which your team will be required to clock in and out.
3. Completing Weekly Time Cards:
To begin, the employee should log in to the Time web interface at www.time.wagepoint.com/your_server_name. If the user is a manager, they can also choose to view as an employee.
1. Click the dropdown arrow next to "Add shift" to select "Add weekly time."
This action will open the weekly Timesheet, allowing you to make manual entries for any specific day of the week or for all days of the week.
2. After all entries have been made, a time card submission can be made. The method accumulates both daily and total hours from all entries in the selected week.
In Fig. 1, you'll find the week navigator, which is crucial for ensuring that the entries are submitted for the correct week. You can navigate forward and backward using the "<>" symbols to select the desired week.
In Fig. 2, you'll see the "+ Add entry" option, which enables you to add another timesheet. This feature can be useful for distinguishing time cards for various locations or jobs within the week you selected in Fig. 1.
After you have recorded all the entries, simply click on "Submit," and this will trigger a request for this
time to be sent to a manager.
After the submission is made, the manager or admin can review, approve, or deny the entry requests. On the dashboard, the admin or manager will find the Timesheet requests on the right side. They can choose to "View all," use the "X" to deny, or use the checkmark to approve the requests.
Choosing "View all" will display a list of all the requests made, allowing each one to be individually viewed and responded to.
