The Payroll register report breaks down the information for each payroll by employee and includes departmental and company totals as well.
- Navigate to the Reports > Payroll register tab.
- If you have multiple pay groups, select the paygroup.
- Payroll end cycle date – select the cycle end date to view the payroll register report associated with that payroll.
This report includes (current and YTD) –
- Employee name
- Regular pay
- Regular hours
- Additional earnings
- Federal taxes
- Provincial taxes
- CPP/QPP employer and employee contributions
- EI employer and employee contributions
- Deductions and benefits - employer and employee contributions
- Net pay
Departmental totals (current and YTD) -
- Gross wages - sum total of gross wages for all employees in the assigned department
- Deductions and benefits - sum total of employer and employee contributions
- Employee taxes (EE Taxes) - sum total of federal and provincial taxes, including CPP/QPP and EI for all employees in the assigned department
- Employer taxes (ER Taxes) - sum total of employer contributions toward CPP/QPP and EI for all employees in the assigned department
- Net pay - sum total of net pay for all employees in the assigned department
Company total (current and YTD) -
- Gross wages - total of gross wages for the entire payroll
- Deductions - total of additional deductions
- Employee taxes (EE Taxes) - sum total of federal and provincial taxes, including CPP/QPP and EI for all employees
- Employer taxes (ER Taxes) - sum total of employer contributions toward CPP/QPP and EI
- Net pay - sum total of net pay for all employees
Note: this report includes all active and terminated employees paid in a pay group.
