We released the following features and bug fixes in Wagepoint on November 12, 2020.
Features/enhancements
-
View opening balances (CSV) – added a new report that will let a company signing up mid-year to view the opening balances they entered for an employee or contractor. This CSV file will be displayed in the Employees tab in the year it is applicable. After the year passes, the customer will be able to access this CSV from the Year-to-date Report tab.
-
Disable/enable Workers’ Compensation rates – once a WCB rate has been assigned to an employee and used in payroll, the user cannot delete the rate anymore. This new Disable function will prevent an employer from selecting and assigning this rate to an employee. Additionally, once a rate is disabled, any employees who have that rate assigned to them will no longer have WCB calculated until the user changes the selection to an active rate. A disabled rate is the same as “Not applicable” in functionality. Note: Disabling a rate prevents it from being selected by a user, but it should not affect any of the reports or prior payrolls where this rate was used on an employee.
-
Change report (CSV) – added a CSV export function to let users to download the change data to a spreadsheet.
-
Additional tax on pre- payroll register view – updated the view to display additional tax in the payroll preview report.
-
SwipeClock integration – To activate the Swipeclock integration, new users need to add and save the SiteID in the Add-ons page to ensure that you can connect the app without any errors.
