Year-to-date report

The Year-to-date report creates mock tax forms as of the current year-to-date or for past years. These forms are for review only and cannot be printed or downloaded. 

To run the report, follow these steps:

  1. Click Reports.

  2. Click More.

  3. Click Year-to-Date.

  4. In the drop-down fields, select a: 
    • Year: Defults is This year-to-date, but you can select past years
    • Tax form: If a form type does not show up, it means there are none available in the selected year
    • Workers: Selection is of available employees based on the year and form selected. For example, if T4A is selected, you will only see applicable contractors Screenshot 2026-02-24 at 2.24.47 PM.png

 

  1. Your report will generate after a selection is made in each field. You can change your selections to view other reports.

Some reasons to use the year-to-date report are:

You want to make sure your income/deduction codes are reporting to the correct tax form boxes.

You need to check the insurable or pensionable earnings for an employee.

You are submitting your tax forms manually early in the year.

You are moving to a new payroll provider and need the year-to-date details for an employee.

Limitations:

Only the current year-to-date or past years can be selected; no custom date ranges.

Can only be run for one employee and tax form at a time

Year-to-date reports are for review only and cannot be downloaded, printed, or exported in any way.
